Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Valid North Carolina teaching license (or eligibility) in Middle Grades Mathematics

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field

• Proven track record of improving student achievement

• Strong knowledge of the North Carolina Standard Course of Study

• Use assessment data to drive instruction and intervention

• Create a positive, engaging classroom culture with high expectations

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
