Sallie B. Howard School of Arts & Science is a tuition-free, public charter school founded in 1997 in Wilson, N.C. that serves over 1,200 students in grades K-12. A 2021 National Blue Ribbon School, we provide a unique educational opportunity that includes an arts-based curriculum, biotechnology training, a study abroad program, and a culture dedicated to ensuring that every child is successful in school and in life. We are also an academically high-performing school that consistently out-performs state and county schools on end-of-grade exams.
