Sallie B. Howard School of Arts & Science – a K-12 free public charter school established in Wilson, N.C. in 1997 – is seeking an Exceptional Children’s Teacher for Middle/High School. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and a NC Teaching License in one area of disability of Exceptional Children.

The EC Teacher should have a strong background in the North Carolina Course of Study/Common Core and Essential Standards. He/she will employ a variety of teaching methods to meet student needs, implement these methods by adapting/developing instructional materials and provide a positive, nurturing learning environment for students to thrive.
